Viridiana L. Benitez

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Infant Learning Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I study how attention, learning, and language experience affect how infants, children, and adults learn words, track statistical patterns, and learn to attend.

I am also a visiting scholar in the Chican@ and Latin@ Studies Program at UW-Madison and committed to supporting students who have been traditionally underrepresented in academia and the sciences.

In the Fall of 2017, I will be joining Arizona State University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology.
