I am an Assistant Professor at Arizona State University in the Department of Psychology. I study how attention, learning, and language experience affect how infants, children, and adults learn words, track statistical patterns, and learn to attend.

I am a daughter of immigrant parents and a first generation college graduate. I obtained an A.A. from San Jacinto Community College, a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston, a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Indiana University, and completed a postdoc at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
