Currently, I am a member of the Advisory Council for the Latino Infant Initiative Policy Agenda.
The initiative is being run by UnidosUS and Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors and has developed a policy agenda to help promote the health, wellbeing, and learning of Latino infants in the U.S. aged prenatal to 3 years old.
The Advisory Council is composed of leaders of community organizations in early childhood education across the country, parent leaders, and researchers. The goal of the Advisory Council has been to help guide the creation and implementation of the policy agenda.
